The opportunity
Signatus are partnering with a leading Irish commercial law firm to hire a Real Estate Associate with 5 years PQE.
This role sits within a highly regarded real estate practice and will have a strong focus on renewable energy and infrastructure projects. You will advise developers, investors, financial institutions, corporates and public sector bodies on complex property matters connected to major energy projects.
We are looking for a solicitor who already has meaningful exposure to energy related real estate work and wants to develop that specialism further.
What you will own
Advise on banking and security transactions and requirements
• Lead and coordinate large scale property due diligence exercises
• Draft and negotiate leases, easements and related property documentation
• Review title structures, burdens and project specific property arrangements
• Manage your own matters while working closely with senior lawyers and specialist teams
• Build trusted relationships with sophisticated domestic and international clients
• Success in the first 6 to 12 months will mean taking increasing ownership of complex commercial real estate matters through all transaction phases and becoming a trusted point of contact for clients.
What we are looking for -Must have
• 5 years PQE as a qualified solicitor
• Experience gained within a strong commercial real estate practice
• Exposure to renewable energy or energy related property transactions
• Experience with leases, easements, title due diligence and tables of burdens
• Ability to manage several matters and client relationships simultaneously
• Strong academic background and clear written and verbal communication skills
Helpful but not essential
• Experience advising on wind farm. renewable energy or solar developments
• Exposure to infrastructure, investment or development led real estate mandates
