We are working with an established commercial law firm in Belfast with an enviable reputation for employee satisfaction and progression, to recruit a Banking Lawyer at Associate Director or Director level into their successful team. They are seeking ambitious and highly motivated banking and finance solicitors from 7+ years PQE who have an interest in career progression, big-ticket work, and great work-life balance.
Your new role
You will be joining one of Northern Ireland’s leading law firms and will work on a day to day basis as part of an enthusiastic and collaborative team. You will work with some leading partners in the sector on a broad range of banking and finance transactions to include; leveraged finance, Syndicated loan facilities, acquisition finance, Real Estate and Development Finance, Project Finance, Refinancing / restructuring, Securitisations and capital markets, Acquisition and corporate finance, Cross border lending, debt securities and corporate transactions. You will gain exposure to some high end local and international clients in this highly varied and interesting role.
In addition to your transactional responsibilities, you will also have an opportunity to manage a team of senior and junior associates and play an active part in their career development and mentorship.
What can you offer?
Ideally, you will be a dual qualified solicitor, NI or E&W with other jurisdictions.
Candidates qualified in ROI and with ROI experience in Banking and finance will be highly desirable.
You should be able to demonstrate genuine transactional/technical experience in banking and finance matters together with high academic achievements, entrepreneurial vision, commercial aptitude, marketing and practice development skills, strong team ethic and a desire to lead.
