We are recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial firm in Belfast who are looking to grow their corporate services offering. This is a great opportunity for an experienced senior corporate solicitor to develop the corporate team and assist in the management of other corporate solicitors.
Your new role
The corporate department handles a full range of corporate/commercial work and the successful candidate will lead negotiations, help to manage the team and personally assist in the business development and marketing of the corporate services offering. You will be involved in complex M&A deals with some well-known brand name clients and in addition to your managerial responsibilities, will be advising clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions to include acquisitions and disposals, private equity and VC, corporate finance, corporate governance, restructuring and shareholder agreements.
What can you offer the role?
You will likely have:
- a solicitor qualification with a minimum of 6 years post qualification experience;
- a track record in providing corporate/commercial advice to the highest standard;
- the entrepreneurial vision and commercial aptitude to grow and develop a corporate team;
- a strong team ethic (people management skills preferable but not essential);
