Signatus are recruiting a Corporate Solicitor who is at or near partner level, on behalf of a growing and successful commercial firm based in Belfast. The Corporate Partner will form part of the Senior Management team and be instrumental in the development and continued success of their corporate services department. Boasting a diverse client range of multi-national, national, home grown SME companies and large financial institutions, the firm offers fantastic exposure to exciting and challenging big-ticket work.
Your new challenge
As a new corporate partner, you will be responsible for some of the more managerial aspects of running the corporate department including people management and development. Along with the other corporate partners, you will lead the corporate team on a broad range of transactions including private equity and Venture Capital, corporate finance, corporate governance, restructuring, shareholder agreements, Mergers, acquisitions and disposals.
What can you bring to the role?
Considering the responsibility that goes with the Corporate Partner role, you are likely to have circa 8-10+ years’ experience gained from a corporate commercial background in a top tier national, international or regional company. Ideally, you will be dual EW and NI qualified, although all jurisdictions will be considered.
You will undoubtedly have a proven record of leading large corporate transactions and advisory work, solid Business development/networking skills and will ideally contribute to the firm’s business development through your strong client network.
Your personal attributes will include a driven attitude, motivation to succeed and to grow both personally and in line with business objectives. Obviously, all candidates must possess excellent communication and managerial skills and provide high levels of client care as standard.
