Signatus are recruiting an in house legal counsel based in Belfast, for our client, one of NI’s most recognisable brands and leader within their specialist industry. You will join an established but small in house legal team who have exposure to all aspects of the group’s businesses and who provide a range of diverse legal services to those businesses.
This will be a fast-paced role within a non-traditional legal environment that will demand innovation and an ability to problem solve on both a practical and legal level to get things done. The role offers a top class salary and benefits package that includes free fuel and a company car together with an onsite gym and medical / health benefits. there is also huge potential to progress within the legal team and take ownership of some core areas of responsibility within the overall legal function. this is very much a career role for a solicitor either transitioning out of private practice or a solicitor with some prior commercial contract / corporate or construction experience looking to move in house.
What experience do I need?
Whilst the role is open to both qualified solicitors and non-qualified legal professionals, the range of matters you will deal with will broadly span the below areas and you should be able to offer strong experience in some of the below;
- Commercial Contracts
- Company Secretarial
- Construction Law
- Corporate Law
- Business Governance and Change Management
- Dispute resolution
If you are not a qualified solicitor of c2-4 years PQE with experience in the above, you should be able to demonstrate previous in house experience in a similar role or have a lot of experience to offer in some of the above areas.
