We’re representing a very well-known and reputable solicitors’ firm who specialize in Plaintiff litigation cases in Belfast. There is an excellent opportunity for a claimant clinical negligence solicitor to join the team and lead the medical negligence department. Defendant clinical negligence solicitors who are considering a move into claimant-based work will still be considered.
Your new role
You will join a small but specialist team of litigators who have developed a reputable practice over the years.
As a solicitor with at least 2 years PQE, acquired within a clinical negligence role, you will have strong experience in handling a wide range of cases at all stages of the litigation process.
You will enjoy a challenging and varied caseload of medical negligence cases, circa 90 and will have the opportunity to supplement your caseload with other personal injury cases also, both county and high court matters.
You’ll be given access to specialist technology software to manage your caseload effectively and ease the administrative burdens of carrying out your duties as a clinical negligence solicitor.
What you will need to be successful?
- A qualified solicitor in either NI/ROI/UK
- At least 2 years’ experience in a clinical / medical negligence role
- Ideally, strong claimant experience however defendant experience will be considered also
- Experience using Proclaim case management system preferred but not essential
- Experience in PI work with some Medical negligence case experience may also be considered
