Signatus are recruiting insurance Account Handlers on behalf of a Major international brokerage firm with a key operation site in Belfast. This firm are the largest brokerage in Ireland with a keen foothold into European markets also. they have offices in Belfast and Derry but due to their unique model, they can base their staff largely anywhere in the province. There are multiple roles on offer due to a sustained period of growth including 3 commercial account handlers, 2 trainee handlers and a part-time handler/administrator. You may have the option to choose a work-from-home plan of 3 in the office, and 2 at home. Or you may if experienced, be able to avail of a more remote/hybrid option allowing you to only attend offices during set meeting days. The company culture within the office is very collegiate and friendly and their is a good emphasis placed on social events like outdoor bbq days and company away days.
Who we are looking for?
These roles are perfect for anyone who can offer some experience from within the insurance industry in either an underwriting, claims management, adjusting, commercial or personal lines capacity perhaps.No matter what level of experience you have or whether you are simply starting out on your insurance career, with some transferrable financial services experience or client facing experience, our client is happy to consider your application and offer you the training and support needed to progress your career. If you are coming from a background of no insurance experience, we are happy to consider applicants who can demonstrate strong communication skills, previous outbound or inbound customer or B2B experience and candidates who are willing to start a career in Insurance.
For the experienced roles, insurance professionals who are CertII or on their way to achieving them, or with prior commercial account handling experience will be in a highly advantageous position.
