Signatus are recruiting a litigation solicitor on behalf of a firm of Personal Injury and Criminal solicitors, based in Derry. Our clients are a very reputable and growing company, led by a very experienced Senior Partner. This represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor with good litigation experience who is looking to further their career in a progressive thinking firm.
Your new role
You will be working directly with the Senior Partner in the litigation department to assist him on Personal injury matters, RTA’s, EL, OL and a small amount of medical negligence cases.
Your caseload will span the County Court and High courts and you will have responsibility of some high value cases.
This role will suit either an experienced litigation solicitor, cNQ-5years PQE who can get a handle on case files fairly quickly. Or, alternatively, a relatively new litigation solicitor who is passionate about developing themselves professionally and requires some supervision. The hope is that the solicitor joining the firm will grow into their new role and ultimately, over time, assist in growing out the practice area so that they can take over responsibility for it. It is therefore an excellent permanent opportunity for a career litigator.
Essential
- A qualified solicitor in NI
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar litigation role
